A Review and My First GIVEAWAY!

My FIRST GIVEAWAY!!

Woo Hoo!!

I was contacted by My Memories Suite and asked if I would do a review of the My Memories Digital Scrapping Software!   And in turn they would offer a FREE full version of the software program to one lucky reader of my blog and discounts to all my readers!!  How cool is that!!??   The My Memories Suite is available for PC or MAC, too!

So what is My Memories Suite?  This is what the company says:

“My Memories Suite version 2 software is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its intuitive workspace and enhanced time-saving features are perfect for a beginner to build an entire album in minutes, or to empower the design pro to build a scrapbook album masterpiece.”

This is the first time I have ever used digital software and I was so excited to get started.  However, I have never been good with figuring out new software.   I was a bit apprehensive because some software can be confusing, time consuming and even frustrating, but I quickly learned about all the tutorial videos on their website,  and  decided to take the time to watch a beginning  video before getting started.

I used the above tutorial and followed it step-by-step.

Here is a screencap of the blog’s video tutorial.

There are tons of FREE downloaded pages to work with.

To make my first project super easy,  I chose to do the exact same project as the teacher used in the video.
The same free page found here:

The free page is called, Time to Play Quick Pages”

The tutorial is about 30 minutes in length and covers all the basics to get you started! By the end of the video I had created my first page.   Here is my version.

I have not had time to watch all the tutorials, but love the program so much that I ended up playing with the program and created two more pages very quickly….

MyMemoriesSuite offers

Numerous tutorial videos

A facebook webpage which has links to more tutorial videos, reader project ideas and much more

Dozens of FREE kits and even more pages by many designers for purchase

A blog where there is always someone available to answer questions

http://www.mymemoriesblog.com/

They give you a personal email address to write to in case you have any questions regarding the program and program usage

You can save pages into jpegs, create videos, create greeting cards, digital greeting cards or calendars,  create photo album pages, burn onto DVD’s and so much more. (think Christmas cards and personal gifts!!) With My Memories Suite you make posters or trading cards, post a movie of your scrapbook on your Facebook page,  all with the click of a button. I plan on spending some time doing all the above!!

Speaking of Christmas cards….  I just had to try to see what I could come up with in just a few minutes.  Here it is!  I like it!

And even more quickly a stationary page to use for Christmas letters!
